What is your inclement weather policy?

K Studio closure due to inclement weather will be announced by 9:00 am for weekday daytime classes, 2:00 pm for after-school / evening classes, and 8:00 am for Saturday classes. If the studio is closed, it will be posted on our voicemail, social media, and website.

What is the dress code at K Studio?

Ballet- leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes.
Jazz - leotard with dance pants / shorts / capris and black jazz shoes.
Lyrical - leotard with dance pants / shorts / capris and nude foot Undeez.
Tap - leotard with dance pants / shorts / capris and black tap shoes.
Musical Theater - leotard with dance pants / shorts / capris and black jazz shoes (6-10 year olds) or tan character shoes (11-18 year olds).
Hip Hop - dress the part with CLEAN / NEW Black Chuck Taylor Converse tennis shoes.

How long is your program?

Our 9-month fall session runs from mid-August to mid-May annually, ending in a May recital performance. We also offer a 6-week summer program consisting of classes and camps.

How do I determine what class to enroll my dancer in?

Classes for our recreational program are primarily based on age (by November 1st). Level 2 classes are designated for dancers with experience in that style of dance. The Company Program requires acceptance from our annual audition held at the end of May.

What is the monthly tuition for a dance class?

Recreational Class Tuition is as follows:
  • 30-minute class:
  • 45-minute class: $55.00
  • 60-minute class: $58.00
  • There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $35.00 per dancer ($10 for additional dancers in family) due annual at the time of registration. September tuition is also due at this time

What other fees are there during the season?

  • Costume Fees: due November 30th
  • $55.00 / costume for dancers 10 and younger (2 costumes for combo classes)
  • $65.00 / costume for dancers 11 and older
  • Recital Fee: due March 30th
  • $40.00 per family ($20 for each additional sibling)

Do you offer any kind of discounts?

We offer Multiple Class Discounts – $4.00 off second and third classes, $6.00 off fourth and fifth classes, and $8.00 off sixth class and on. We also offer a 5% discount for one payment of 9-month tuition in full.
